Very expected game when 13th ranked EstonianTartu (5-2) lost to leader Lithuanian Snaiperis (8-0) 69-75 on Friday. Tartu was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 9-point lead after three quarters before a 27-12 charge of Snaiperis, which allowed them to win the game. Vainius Vabalas nailed 29 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and Joris Makarevicius accounted for 25 points and 5 rebounds. Snaiperis' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Matthias Murkhain (196-2009) came up with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Martin Teppo (194-2010) added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Tartu in the defeat. Four Tartu players scored in double figures. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Snaiperis . They moved-up to second place, which they share with Jugla. Loser Tartu keeps the thirteenth position with two games lost. They share it with Poznan and Roseto Acad..
